Alliance for Integrity's Global Conference 2016

From Commitment to action – Application of Integrity in Practice

A B20 Anti-corruption Forum

Strengthening business integrity is a competitive advantage for companies, especially when faced with an increasingly strict regulatory environment and ever higher demands for transparency from customers. Also governments are stepping up efforts to establish good framework conditions for clean business to foster economic growth and attract foreign investment. Furthermore, the need to fight corruption is also reflected in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Target 16.5 calls for a substantial reduction of corruption and bribery in all their forms. Discussions about anti-corruption strategies are also discussed on intergovernmental level, for example, in the context of the G20/B20.

This conference aims to reflect the international relevance of taking action against corruption and support the implementation of business integrity on the ground providing a platform for a global exchange of knowledge and good practices.

The Global Conference took place on November 17th, 2016 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
