The Alliance for Integrity has officially accredited seven organizations as National Hubs on 20 February 2024. The newly accredited hubs will promote business integrity in the partner countries of the Alliance for Integrity and represent the initiative through a broad range of activities and tools, such as training, webinars, didactic guides, and publications.
The accreditation took place at a meeting of the Alliance for Integrity's Steering Committee. The new hubs are:
These organizations will work towards promoting responsible and transparent business practices in their respective countries representing Alliance for Integrity on the ground.
During the meeting, the strategic outline for the upcoming months was discussed, and new Chair and Vice Chairs were elected. Anke Struckmeier-Eickenberg from METRO AG, who will serve as the Chair, and Raquel Zambrano de León from Novartis Canada and Sagar Khandelwal from S.R. Khandelwal & Co., who will serve as the new Vice Chairs, will form the board of the Steering Committee for the year to come.
The Steering Committee of the Alliance for Integrity, which is a core element of the governance structure, leads the decision-making process with the goal of promoting responsible and transparent business practices globally. It is comprised of representatives from the private sector, public sector, civil society, and international organizations. It is elected every three years by the partners and supporters of the Alliance for Integrity. The Committee meets twice a year and may convene additional meetings as needed.
