Advisory Group India Holds Workshop on Vision 2025

In the framework of a series of Advisory Group meetings on the Vision 2025, Alliance for Integrity India held a workshop on their vision for the initiative in Delhi on 6 June 2019. Members of the Advisory Group India gave inputs and shared their perspectives on where the initiative should stand in 2025.

During the interactive workshop, the members defined the outcomes to be achieved in the next six years and which path the Alliance for Integrity should pursue. The members also discussed challenges and current trends in the field of business integrity. It became clear that one major goal for the Advisory Group India will be to strengthen the brand visibility of the Alliance for Integrity on the national level and widen the network. As Mr. Ramani Iyer put it, “the Alliance for Integrity should become the ‘go-to place’ for anything related to business integrity and compliance”. Alliance for Integrity’s Regional Manager Asia, Claudia Lorek de Araújo, shared further information on the roadmap and next steps for the development of the Vision 2025.

During the second half of the day, the participants discussed the adaptation of the Terms of Reference (ToR) of the Advisory Group India as a part of the global standardisation process of these documents. While the members have approved most changes, further comments and suggestions will be included in one of the clauses.

As one of the highlights of the day, Mr. Ganga Charan Sharma, TÜV Rheinland India Private Limited, and Mr. Sherbir Panag, Law Offices of Panag and Babu, were elected as new Chair and Vice-Chair for the Advisory Group of India. Eventually, former Chair and Vice-Chair, Mr. Prasad Chandran and Mr. Ramani, were thanked for the engagement and support during the last years.
