The Covid-19 pandemic is testing both the private and public sectors. The market is continuously changing and the population is demanding quick and effective action from the government. This, combined with border closures, shortages of goods, international competition - especially for medical goods - and supply chain disruptions, creates a scenario where governments and companies are under extreme pressure to deliver. This significantly affects due diligence processes and threatens the economic survival of many SMEs.
The first two sessions of the event series were held in camera. In a protected setting, representatives of the private and public sectors discussed the challenges of public procurement during the crisis. In the third session, which is open to the broad public, the focus is now on cooperation between the stakeholders involved. Especially the exchange of experiences, best practices and lessons learnt is crucial to overcome the crisis and be prepared for future scenarios.
During the event, five panelists will share their experiences: two representatives from the private sector, two representatives from public institutions, and one representative each from an SME and a development bank.
The event will take place on Thursday, 25 March 2021, 14:00 (GMT+1), in English language.
The event is open to the broad public. We invite CEOs, compliance officers, business executives, public servants, representatives of SMEs and compliance enthusiasts to join the session.
Registration and participation are free of charge.
