Advisory Group in Peru held its first work session of the year 2023

Last Wednesday, February 15, the Advisory Group of the Alliance for Integrity held its first work session this year. Oscar Caipo, president of the Advisory Group, highlighted the importance of the multi-stakeholder approach of the Alliance for Integrity, providing a platform for public-private dialogue with a view to joining forces and articulating efforts towards the creation of a business world characterized by integrity.

During the session, the Advisory Group made important recommendations to the work plan of the Alliance for Integrity, which will be carried out jointly with the project Building Governance with Integrity of the German development cooperation, implemented by GIZ during this year 2023.

Alliance for Integrity will develop in Peru a virtual training offer aimed at SMEs on issues of business integrity and corruption prevention; integrity with a gender approach, adaptation of the No Excuses Guide and an integrity guide for SMEs that contract with the state.

Moreover, from October 23 to 27, Lima will be the host city of the "Eighth Regional Week of Business Integrity in Latin America", which seeks to bring together the most relevant actors from the private sector, public sector, civil society, academia, and institutions. organizations of the continent, for the development of a regional exchange of knowledge, experiences, and good practices.
