“De Empresas Para Empresas” training for CADIEM’s Associates

On 28 November, a De Empresas Para Empresas training course was held in Argentina. At the beginning of the training, the new Alliance for Integrity online tool "TheIntegrityApp" that will help companies to evaluate their corruption prevention programmes and to improve and implement new compliance tools was introduced.

After the presentation of the TheIntegrityApp, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) associated to the Argentine Chamber of Medical Supplies, implantable Medical Devices and Medical Equipment (CADIEM) were trained in corruption prevention measures. Good business practices were shared with them by the compliance experts Roberto Mendenson, Sub Regional Compliance Officer at Merck SA, María Laura Parcerisa, Compliance Coordinator at Enap Sipetrol Argentina SA, and Dorothea Garff, Lawyer at Estudio Beccar.

The training participants were introduced to practical tools which will help them to develop and implement an integrity programme in their own companies, especially in the framework of the new Law on Corporate Criminal Liability.The three trainers shared their knowledge and experiences with almost 30 participants. The training is implemented locally by the German-Argentinian Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK Argentina) and the Argentinian Network of the United Nations Global Compact.

At the end of the training, the participants gained access to the online Support Desk, through which they will be assisted in the implementation of their integrity programme.
