Alliance for Integrity successfully held its first Corruption Prevention Training ”De Empresas Para Empresas” in cooperation with the AHK in Porto Alegre in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. The training was attended several representatives from SMEs of Porto Alegre. The goal of the training is to support SMEs in the development and implementation of effective corruption prevention systems.
Considering that corruption has no single definition, and to ensure that SMEs have a clear understanding of the subject, the trainer Claus Peter Polzin addressed the different types of corruption and emphasized the identification of gray areas.
Afterwards, the participants had access to possible internal, external and collective measures to prevent and combat corruption in the private sector. During the training, the participants shared their knowledge and experience acquired over their own daily business activities.
