The Alliance for Integrity held its 2nd global Steering Committee Meeting in Berlin on June 8. The members meet twice a year to provide thought leadership and guidance to the Alliance for Integrity. The Secretariat of the Alliance for Integrity presented selected “Highlights” of the first six months in 2016 and discussed future plans and other topics, such as aspects concerning communication and sustainability, with the Steering Committee. The new members of the Steering Committee – the Chairs of the Advisory Groups in Brazil, Ghana and India – joined the meeting for the first time via video conference and telephone. Members of the Steering Committee include representatives from the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), Federation of German Industries (BDI e.V.), German Global Compact Network, Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII), MAN SE, Merck KGaA, Metro AG, SAP SE, Seegos India, Siemens Brazil, Transparency International Germany e.V. and United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
