Corruption Prevention in the supply chain – the expert group works intensively on the handbook

The Expert Group “Corruption prevention in the supply chain” held its second meeting on 12 June in Berlin and continued its work on the handbook. After a warm welcome and a brief update the three review groups presented their results. In a lively and practice-oriented discussion the experts shared their knowledge about challenges in the implementation of corruption prevention programmes in the supply chain. The Expert Group also highlighted on possible solutions.

The Group was established with the aim of improving corruption prevention in supply chains by means of recommendations for action, provision of good practice examples, tools, and other activities.

The members of the group are experts from relevant stakeholder groups dealing with the issue of corruption prevention in supply chains. Current members of the Expert Group include representatives from the Bundesverband der Deutschen Sportartikel-Industrie e.V., the Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel Deutschland e.V., the Bundesverband Materialwirtschaft, Einkauf und Logistik e.V., the Deutsches Netzwerk Wirtschaftsethik e.V., DICO e.V., Hugo Boss AG, Humana Kleidersammlung GmbH, Linde AG, MAN SE, Metro Group AG, Siemens AG, and Tchibo GmbH.

The group was initiated by the Alliance for Integrity, the German Global Compact Network, the Bündnis für nachhaltige Textilien together with Transparency International Germany e.V.
