On 1 August 2018, the Advisory Group Indonesia convened in the Merck Office in Jakarta for the third time this year. In her welcome remarks, Miranda Andamsari, Chairperson of the Alliance for Integrity’s Advisory Group Indonesia thanked the Advisory Group members for their commitment and continued support for the Alliance for Integrity.
Florian Lair, Coordinator Asia at Alliance for Integrity shared news from the global level and the envisioned ideas for sustainability of the Alliance for Integrity in Indonesia. He also encouraged the Advisory Group members to cooperate more strongly with other stakeholders to strengthen the engagement thus resulting in a bigger impact on the ground. Furthermore, he also updated the audience on TheIntegrityApp, a digital solution platform created by Alliance for Integrity where the Advisory Group members were very interested and contributed some ideas for the developing of the platform.
Following update from the global level, Faiza Hasan presented the Alliance for Integrity work plan for Indonesia until end of 2018. On this occasion, the members also reviewed the upcoming activities and contributed some ideas for the next activities. In further discussions, the members exchanged possible contribution for the sustainability of the initiative. Indonesia Business Links, a business association that also has been doing research on integrity in healthcare sector, will collaborate to conduct a DUKU compliance training for the health care sector with Alliance for Integrity, among others.
The outgoing Network Manager in Indonesia, Barliana Amin, used the opportunity to thank the Advisory Group for the continued commitment and to say goodbye.
