The Alliance for Integrity has rounded up its training activities for the year in Ghana with a Compliance Training for Businesses in Accra.
The training programme, which attracted 10 company representatives, was organised in collaboration with the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event climaxed three months of intensive capacity building activities, which started with a Train-the-trainer Workshop and Compliance Training for Businesses in Accra in August, followed by Compliance Training for Businesses in Takoradi, Kumasi and Tamale. In all, 88 participants benefitted from the training activities in Ghana this year.
In an address, Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawoso I, President of the Ghana Chamber of Commerce and Industry commended the Alliance for Integrity for the collaboration with the chamber and called on businesses across the country to take advantage of the training programme when it is rolled out again next year.
The training was facilitated by Eric Nii Boi Quartey of the Association of Certified Compliance Practitioners in Africa (ACCPA) and Kofi Asare Anyemedu of the United Nations Global Compact Network Ghana.
