The Director of the Alliance for Integrity, Noor Naqschbandi, participated in a panel discussion on “Supply Chain Compliance and Sustainability” at the 7th German-Polish Forum on Law and Economy in Warsaw, Poland. Together with Sławomir Chmielewski, MBA, Compliance Officer Orange Polska S.A.; Zbigniew Jara, Partner, Jara Drapała and Partners; and Prof. Dr. Claus Köhler, Meister Rechtsanwälte, he discussed ways of implementing corruption prevention tools such as compliance management systems in companies in order to strengthen integrity in the economic system. Noor Naqschbandi presented the Alliance for Integrity’s corruption prevention training programme “De Empresas para Empresas” (DEPE)
(“From Companies to Companies”) as a good practice example on how to build capacities of small and medium-sized companies in supply chains. Furthermore, he illustrated the bigger picture and showed how large companies can contribute to the global development agenda by strengthening integrity within their own organisation but also within the supply chain.
The title of this year’s German-Polish Forum on Law and Economy was „Responsible Business and Compliance in Poland, Germany and the world“. The goal of the forum is to establish a communication platform and to foster the exchange on current legal and economic topics.
