Accra, Ghana

The Capacity Building Working Group of the Alliance for Integrity has begun work on the adaptation of compliance training for State-Owned Enterprises and the healthcare sector respectively in Ghana. Work started at the Working Group’s meeting held on 31st October, 2018, at which members of the Working Group explored various milestones and procedures that have to be completed to ensure that the adaptation covers all issues that apply to the respective sectors. After the adaptation, there would be a train-the-trainer workshop specifically for State-Owned Enterprises and the healthcare sector respectively. The members of the Working Group also explored new webinars as tools that will be used in 2019 to support the capacity building efforts of the Alliance for Integrity in Ghana.

New members joined the Capacity Building Working Group from Amuga Rural Bank, Bank of Ghana and GCB Bank. The meeting also had representatives from the State Enterprise Commission who took part in the meeting as resource persons of interest, having previously participated in the train-the-trainer workshop of the Alliance for Integrity and are expected to be resource persons when the State-Owned Enterprise's compliance training is accomplished. The Working Group will continue the various processes for the adaptation of both training workshops
