Corruption is a fact that directly affects the well-being of citizens. In practice, corruption occurs through a variety of means, such as the diversion of resources from public budgets, which has negative consequences for the application of funds in health, education, social security and social and infrastructure programs correlated with issues of human rights violations. According to the United Nations Office on the Fight against Organized Crime and Drugs (UNODC), "corruption is a complex social, political and economic phenomenon that affects every country in the world”.
Given this scenario, in order to discuss relevant and current issues such as digitization, which allows for innovation, making processes more efficient and creating new business models that offer a high potential for sustainable economic growth, as well as significant implications for the area integrity and integrity in business, Alliance for Integrity took the initiative to create a week of integrity with the presence of many partners in Latin America: Integrity Week.
