ReactivAcción Colectiva in Latin America - Regional Cooperation for a transparent, integral and sustainable recovery

The Covid-19 pandemic has particularly affected the Latin American region, which has become the focus of the global crisis. In addition to the health challenges, economic crises deepened, affecting especially local business and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) . Economic incentives can become a motivation to set aside the standards of transparency and integrity that were achieved in recent decades.

Coming out of the health crisis, the next step will be economic reactivation. To achieve an economic recovery that mantains and deepens integrity standards, it is necessary to work together with the public and private sectors and with civil society.

The opening event of the fifth Regional Integrity Week will seek to answer the following questions:

• What lessons have we learnt from the pandemic in terms of integrity and transparency?
• How do we motivate companies and public officials not to neglect integrity standards?
• How can we use Collective Action methodologies to achieve a full, transparent and sustainable economic recovery?
• Can regional cooperation be a tool to achieve a more efficient recovery?

The opening event of the fifth Regional Integrity Week (in Spanish language) will last 90 minutes and will take place on Monday, 23 November 2020, at the following times:

• 11:00 - 12:30 hrs | Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay
