April’s edition of the Compliance Bulletin, written by Prof. Dr. Makowicz of the European-University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), focuses on the importance of taking into account cultural differences to ensure the effectiveness of a compliance management system. Rather than a one-size-fits all approach across global corporations, Prof. Dr. Makowicz highlights the need for compliance management systems to be developed in cooperation with the values and cultures of the people on the ground.
